Innovative Machining Concepts

Being a CNC machining job shop with aerospace, medical and defense as our niche, this over the years has enabled us to work with companies on many different types of programs. Some of our clients we have manufactured parts for include Northrup/Grumman, Diop, Axsys Technologies, Gasl, RMD, U.S. Government and Goodrich Aerospace.

In addition, as subcontractors to various second tier companies, we have manufactured many parts used in Boeing, Airbus, Sikorsky, Nasa, Martin Marietta, Mcdonnell Doughlas and Messier-Dowty. Quality, as a result of our implementation of our ZERO DEFECTS manufacturing practices is 100%.

We are currently approved to Mil-I-45208A & Mil-I-45662A and are ISO compliant. Looking forward, we are anticipating to achieve AS9100 certification by June 2010.

Frank Marino started Innovative Machining Concepts in September of 1988, as a freelance programmer, methodizer and adviser using advanced manufacturing techniques. Recognizing the industry (locally) had a void, Frank took the next step and began to manufacture parts for local businesses. Prior to that time, Frank Marino received multiple degrees from LIU in Finance and Business Management and helped run a family business.

Innovative Machining Concepts can machine just about any part as long as it fits in our equipment's work envelope and even then, we would not hesitate to invest in equipment if warranted. If I had to say we have a niche, that would be in aerostructures and aircraft fittings. Quantities have ranged from 2 pieces to 10,000 parts, but typically they run from 30 to 500 pieces per run.
